Metriaclima glaucus


Living at around 2-10 meters this species rarely ventures into deeper water.

This species lacks the black band in the (yellow) dorsal fin. Similar in body shape to that of M estherae but with a slimmer body. Males have a light blue body with an orange/yellow snout and upper body colouration. Dorsal, pectoral and pelvic fins are blue. Caudal fin is blue sometimes with a yellowy band on the outer edge. Females are silvery with yellowish fins.
