Habitat: Found in rocky habitats at a depth of 2-10 metres.
Diet: Aufwuchs.
Adult Size: Max 6.5cm.
Appearence: Males have a blue body with black stripes, extending into the dorsal fin, and a black submarginal dorsal band.
Females are brown, sometimes showing faint barring, with yellowish edges to the fins.
Miscellaneous: Has been reported at Chitande Island, but this population is considered to be Pseudotropheus perspicax.
